Seeking a Political Science/International Affairs degree, my time in Belgrade was directly relevant to my studies. Especially in the area of international conflict and negation, I learned a lot during my time in the region, about the 1990’s, but also about Yugoslavia, and the struggles that many of the Balkans states, Serbia included, are facing today. Most importantly though, I feel that my time spent in Serbia opened my eyes and allowed me to see the country for everything that it is, beyond the popular misconception of being a war zone. All in all, my experience was brief, but it is one that I am extremely grateful for, and would recommend.
